A LETTER FROM OUR 2024 PRESIDENT
Hey everyone! I am so jazzed to welcome you to Psi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi (ΑΔΠ) here at UC Berkeley. ΑΔΠ is a well-respected and hard-working chapter on campus and I am so honored and excited to take on this leadership role in the chapter!
Being a part of ΑΔΠ has been the best part of my college experience. Not only has allowed me to grow into my college self, but it has truly been a place where I can call home. Filled to the brim with love, charisma, and passionate individuals, Psi chapter has made me the best version of myself and I am so lucky to pass this adoration forward. Our sorority is a community built by members pursuing passions and embracing challenges, all while supporting each other. It's a constant reminder of why I chose ΑΔΠ and Berkeley. The close connections among our members are built on kindness, respect, and a shared determination to achieve our dreams through hard work. It is something that I could not have lived without and something that I will never forget.
ΑΔΠ has held the top campus GPA for over 6 years, however, we are not only defined by our scholastic side. Members of this chapter are involved in a variety of clubs and organizations on campus. Our members bring passion and active involvement to our campus community. We are a house of artists, singers, models and actors, Division 1 Athletes, world travelers and multilinguals, Regent Scholars, philanthropists, future doctors and CEOs- just to name a few. We are constantly striving to become the best version of ourselves and help each other along the way. Nowhere else houses such remarkable and inspiring members.
As we celebrate our 111th year on campus, I'm looking forward to the incredible journey ahead for Psi Chapter in the next century. I invite you to get to know our members and experience firsthand why our house is a special place to be!

History of
Alpha Delta Pi
In 1851, Alpha Delta Pi, then known as the Adelphean Society, was founded as the first secret society for women, setting the stage for all sororities to come. In 1906, the Adelphean Society was renamed to Alpha Delta Pi, becoming part of the Panhellenic sororities.
In 1913, Psi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was colonized at the University of California, Berkeley, as the 23rd chapter of the sorority.
For the last 165 years, Alpha Delta Pi has committed to sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards, and social responsibility, allowing each woman who joins to grow into a better scholar, leader, and individual. Our open motto, "We Live for Each Other," expresses the true meaning of sisterhood as an Alpha Delta Pi. Each woman strives to grow and improve herself while supporting her sisters.
