Alpha Delta Pi's international philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House. RMH provides a "home away from home" for families with seriously ill children while they receive treatment at nearby hospitals. Since 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed over $2 million to this worthwhile effort. As part of our contribution to the organization, members of Psi Chapter drive into San Francisco to cook meals for the local Ronald McDonald House each month. We love the opportunity to interact with the families we serve!
In addition to these visits, Psi Chapter hosts numerous events throughout the year to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. During the fall semester, we put on an all-day fitness even called Fit Fest, in which fellow Cal Greeks chapters and member of our community joined in classes taught by Equinox instructors! In the spring, we hold our annual pizza fundraiser, ADPi Pizza Pie. Local pizza restaurants including Artichoke Basille’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Seniore’s, Tivoli's, West Coast donated pizza and Naked Juice donated drinks which were offered to guests who attended our event. Last year, almost 500 students and community members donated $5 for two slices of pizza and a drink, helping us to raise over $2,000 for RMH.
